Image Motion – Problem 1

An aerial camera with forward-motion compensation and a 3.5in. focal length is carried in an aircraft traveling at 93mph at flying height of 2625ft. above terrain and with a shutter speed of $\frac{1}{250}$ second.
  1. Compute the distance traveled during exposure in meters
  2. Compute the scale above terrain
  3. Compute the distance of film must be moved across the focal plane during exposure in order to obtain a clear image in microns
